There is abundant bird life in the area with over 75 species being identified. During fishing season the river is a rich source of fish and the later months of the season produces some larger specimens. The property is bordered by the Umzimvubu River and there are jetty's and a slipways available for the use of guests.
At The Pont we offer quaint self-catering accommodation in the form of our rustic riverside chalets with three en suite family sized rooms. For larger groups we have Inkwazi, a large family chalet which sleeps 12. Our camping and caravan sites are eqipped with electricity, a large communal kitchen, braaing boma and clean ablution facilities.
