Not only is the Hibiscus Coast famous for its beautiful beaches but, The Braes Lodge is within a 10 minute drive of 3 superb Golf Courses (Southbroom, San Lameer and Margate Country Club). A further 6 courses are within a 45 minute leisurely drive away including the celebrated Selbourne Park and The Wild Coast Sun. We can cater for parties of up to 16 people including transportation to and from the courses.

The fully equipped chalets offer guests all the comforts of home, set in well manicured gardens offering quiet surroundings and total relaxation, yet the busy town of Margate is just a 5 minute drive away. Ramsgate s Blue Flag beach is less than 1km away.
Our largest unit sleeps 6/8 people with 2 double bedrooms (1 en-suite), large bedroom with 2 single beds, 2 further single beds are in the very large lounge area, separate bathroom, toilet, dining area, lounge and bar. There is a private patio to the rear with a braai area. This unit is ideal for a large family group.
Ocean Echo the beach cottage is in Shelly beach, (50 metres from the beach) 1 KM from the Shelly centre in a quite road, and approximately 1.5KM from the freeway, sleeps 4 consisting of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, lounge/ diner, the cottage has its own private garden with braai area and undercover parking.
DSTV is available if you bring your own decoder and card, as there is cabling is in all units at the lodge (not the beach cottage). Welcome...
The Braes Lodge is a family run self-catering holiday destination, located high on a hill in Ramsgate, KwaZulu-Natal with beautiful sea views of the Hibiscus Coast to the North and South. We are approximately 1 hour from Durban International Airport.
The Braes Lodge prides itself on providing quality Self Catering Accommodation, set in secure grounds and well kept spacious gardens, all our chalets are fully equipped providing all kitchenware, comfortable lounge suites with TV, (DStv is available if you bring your own decoder and card), DVD, radio, books and magazines, luxury sprung beds, patio/Braai areas, offering guests a home-from-home feeling, all you need to bring is towels. A relaxing holiday can be assured yet the busy town of Margate is just a 5 minute drive away. Ramsgate's "Blue Flag" beach is less than 1km away. Ramsgate's Adventure Centre is just a 5 minute walk from the lodge and caters for all types of water sports. All our units are non smoking.

Payment Terms:
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking paid into a Direct Deposit Account. No refund on deposits if cancelled within 14 days of arrival unless the unit can be re-let. No refunds on early departures. A 10% handling fee on all refunds.
