Description

Temperatures are moderate all year round along the coast with rain scattered throughout the year. The summers are warm with a very temperate humidity level. Winters are mild and pleasant, and it is significant that water sports are practised year-round.

All 10 cabins have the following facilities available:

Each cabin is allocated a unit in the communal kitchen consisting of lock-up fridge, cutlery, crockery and wash-up facilities, everything needed for self catering stay.

Breakfast served daily, English and Continental at nominal fee in dining room. Light meals arranged for lunch and dinner on request.

Exclusive area within the communal kitchen. Linen, soap and bath towels provided

Laundry service at a nominal fee. Ample braai (BBQ) facilities. Rooms serviced daily. Fans in all cabins.

There is a lock up garage for 4 vehicles and/or trailers.

Bay Cove Inn is situated at the start of the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape. Our town, Jeffrey’s Bay, is world renowned for the magnificent beaches and excellent surfing waves. Bay Cove Inn is a popular venue for the person who enjoys a quiet stay at an affordable price.

Bay Cove Inn is approximately 1.9 Km from the town centre in the main road, which runs parallel to our coastline. We are 150m walk to Albatross beach where whales and dolphins are seen almost on a daily basis. Our beach is for the nature lovers, as we have rock formations to the right and kilometres of golden beach to the left with an abundance of exotic bird life at the estuary within a 500m walk.

Bay Cove Inn is a budget, cosy, home away from home get-a-way and can be classified as a B&B or Guesthouse, but we prefer to be known as an old style inn. We are situated in the quiet area of Jeffreys bay. 150m walk to Albatross beach on the corner of Da Gama (Main road) and Poplar Street. Bay Cove Inn portrays a nautical theme with a wooden log structure. Definitely not five star accommodation, but extremely clean and great value for money and very well known to overseas tourists.

• All cabins are en-suite. Fans in all cabins. Coffee and tea making facilities.

• Rooms are serviced daily. Linen and bath towels provided.
• All cabins are fitted with electronic safes.
• Large dining room where meals are served upon request.
• Optional communal kitchen for guests travelling on a budget and wish to prepare their own meals.
• Everything supplied for your self catering stay.
• Small cozy bar, however guests may bring own refreshments if they so wish.
• Large swimming pool for guests only. (Not a splash pool), located in beautiful garden.
• Ample braai / barbecue facilities.
• Access to our phone, fax and internet at prescribed rates. Lock-up safe on premises.
• We will do South African braais / barbecue for overseas visitors, upon request.
• Laundry done at a nominal fee.
• Large wooden deck and braai areas for entertainment purposes.
• Activities and excursions can be arranged by the management.
• Restaurant bookings done by the staff if required.
• Secure parking for vehicles on our premises, and fully walled. Large safe on premises.
• We have a qualified nursing sister on the premises 24 hrs a day.

  Arrive Friday morning and depart Sunday morning (2 night stay). Includes a large English or Continental breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday morning.
   
  Per Couple R700.00 for 2 persons sharing a cabin for 2 nights
  Additional Adult R350.00 per additional adult sharing the cabin for 2 nights

2-, 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-sleeper cabins are available so if additional persons or children will be sharing with the couple, a larger cabin will be provided.
