Our backpackers is located on the stunning untouched Wild Coast bordering the Bomvu River Mouth with the natural beauty of the coastline and panoramic views of rolling hills on our doorstep. Our tropical garden has 26 indigenous trees, a multitude of wildlife and plenty of chill out areas. If you’re in the mood for some action, we offer great activities to various destinations allowing you to explore the local area on foot, on horse, on surfboard or by 4x4! Alternatively, back at Bomvu, make use of our internet facilities, take a look round the on-site Billabong Wet ‘n Wild Surf Shop, learn to play a drum, watch a tribal performance, make yourself at home in our deck bar for a long cool drink while overlooking the garden and beach or enjoy homecooked food at our Ubuntu Restaurant with its wood-fired pizzas. Bomvu Paradise is more than a backpackers; the Bomvu estate is part of ancestral burial ground. The Xhosas believe that their lost relatives are living in the spirit world to guide them on earth. This makes Bomvu a powerful, spiritual destination intertwined with the community’s present and past loved ones. It is a place of healing and creative retreat providing positive energies for the mind, body and soul, and the opportunity to experience and be a part of the magical Xhosa culture.
