Location:

7km inland from Port Edward in the southern KwaZulu-Natal, a small seaside town on the border with the Eastern Cape. Distance from Durban is 170km. This is a malaria free area. Description: Each timber built chalet is set on its own and is totally secluded. They are a few steps from the boundary of the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, and enjoy spectacular views across the Umtamvuna River Gorge into the grasslands of the Eastern Cape. After heavy rain, four waterfalls can be seen without even getting out of bed!

 Located on beautiful farmlands, overlooking the Umtamvuma River Gorge and Nature Reserve on the South Coast of KZN, you'll discover Clearwater Trails which boasts some of the most exciting marked and guided mountain bike trails in South Africa

Accomodation
Timber cabins set amongst the trees provide guests with rustic, comfortable self-catering accommodation at affordable prices. Ablution facilities have hot showers and the premises is secure.

The 4 and 6 bed Cabins consist of two bedrooms, with single beds. Between the two rooms is a covered sitting area, with an outdoor toilet / shower and kitchenette set between the two rooms.

The kitchenette is equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and basic cooking utensils. Included is an electric fridge / freezer, kettle and toaster. Cooking and water heating is on gas.

Also 4 level camp sites (max 4 people per site). We offer the ‘rent-a-tent’ option (two man dome tent + bedding) or bring your own. Facilities include: open-air (hot) showers and toilet (loo-with-a-view) close to the sites; wash up area for your dishes; braai facilities; small amount of fridge space in the central kitchen.

Mattresses and 100l storage boxes for hire/day. The sites have no electrical power points.
